Joe Judge is reportedly receiving another year in New York. The Giants are bringing Judge back in 2022 for a third season, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The Giants are 4-10 in Year 2 under Judge after going 6-10 in 2020. Judge was hired by the team on Jan. 8, 2020, after 8 seasons on staff with the New England Patriots.
Judge, 39, earned 3 letters playing for Mississippi State from 2000 to 2004. After his playing career, he got his start in coaching as an MSU graduate assistant from 2005-07.
After a season at Birmingham-Southern (2008) as linebackers coach and special teams coordinator, Judge joined Nick Saban’s Alabama staff in 2009 as a special teams assistant, a position he held for 3 seasons. Judge left Alabama to be a special teams assistant with the New England Patriots ahead of the 2012 season.
Judge will reportedly have to replace one of his assistants this offseason. Giants offensive line coach Rob Sale is expected to join Billy Napier’s Florida staff, according to a recent report by The Athletic.
