Soldier Field in Chicago is the site of the Week 1 matchup between the Chicago Bears and San Francisco 49ers.
The problem? The weather isn’t cooperating, as it is very rainy in the Chicago area on Sunday morning and the Soldier Field drainage systems don’t appear to be up to the task.
As you can see below, there is standing water on the field as the teams go through pregame warmups:

Considering the turf at Soldier Field was already questionable this preseason, things could get sloppy (and dangerous) quickly on Sunday afternoon.
The Bears and 49ers are set to kick off at 1 p.m. Eastern time in a game that can be seen on FOX.
