Football is a team sport, but we like to assign wins to quarterbacks. Tagovailoa led the Miami Dolphins to a 20-7 victory over the New England Patriots on Sunday. Tagovailoa is now 4-0 against New England in his young NFL career, which means he has won 4-straight against the Belichick-coached Patriots. Only John Elway has also gone 4-0 against Belichick, including the postseason.
The Dolphins have their fourth-straight win over the Patriots.
Tua Tagovailoa (270 yards, TD, 104.4 rating) is the first QB to ever beat a Bill Belichick coached team four times in a row.

Tagovailoa seemed to enjoy having Tyreek Hill on his team in the third season of his NFL career. Hill caught 8 passes for 94 of Tagovailoa’s 270 passing yards.
As division rivals, the Dolphins and the Patriots meet again on Jan. 1. We’ll see if Tagovailoa can make it 5-0 against Belichick’s squad.
