Urban Meyer’s daughter rips critics of coach in strong Instagram story

Urban Meyer has been fired by the Jacksonville Jaguars after going 2-11 in his first 13 games at the helm of the franchise.
Not many are sticking up for the former Ohio State and Florida coach amid some reports about why he was fired, but Meyer’s family still has his back.
His daughter, Gigi Meyer Pruett, took to Instagram to call out those trying to harm her dad’s reputation (via 247Sports):
“We already know who wins in the end,” Meyer Pruett wrote on an Instagram story. “The enemy (aka the world) really doesn’t wanna see the good people win. And you can argue whether my dad is a ‘good person’ or not based on what you see in the media (super reliable source of info as we know). Anyone who truly knows us knows how incredible he is as a person.
“And the world hates any platform we have, so he’s going to create chaos to destroy it. Little does he know he’s making it stronger. It’s not over. Keep watching.”
Meyer Pruett’s post isn’t going to help her dad any, but she clearly felt the need to put a strong statement out into the world.
We’ll see what the future holds for the 3-time college football national champion moving forward.
