If you still enjoy sitting down and watching old games on ESPN Classic, then you’re going to have to find a new way to do so beginning in 2022.

On Thursday, John Ourand of the Sports Business Journal reported that Disney is planning on shutting down ESPN Classic on Jan. 1. Not only does that include the channel — which hasn’t been included in many cable/satellite packages for quite some time — but also the on-demand service.

As Ourand noted, DirecTV and Dish Network have only offered ESPN Classic as an on-demand service since 2014. Other carriers were allowed to drop the channel or drop it a tier to make room for other channels, such as SEC Network.

ESPN purchased the channel in 1997, when it was known as Classic Sports Network.

ESPN Classic now joins NBC Sports Network as channels that will no longer exist in 2022.
