Livvy Dunne seemingly has it all. The former LSU gymnast is part of the ultimate Tiger alumni power couple with Paul Skenes. At 22, Dunne has accumulated millions of social media followers and landed high-profile endorsement deals. But even Livvy Dunne gets told “no” in certain situations.

Dunne recently took to TikTok to share that she was denied the opportunity to purchase a New York City apartment that once belonged to the legendary Babe Ruth. Dunne said that she was ready to pay $1.6 million in cash and had already lined up an interior designer, joking that taking her college furniture did not seem right for such prestigious digs.

One problem: the co-op board.

“The week that I’m supposed to get my keys to my brand new apartment, I get a call: the co-op board denied me,” Dunne said in her post. “So pretty much, the people in the building voted to not have me live there.”

While she’s disappointed not to get the apartment, she was able to joke about the denial.

“For all I know, they could have been Alabama fans and I went to LSU,” Dunne suggested. “I have no clue. Maybe they didn’t want a public figure.”

Dunne shouldn’t have too hard a time finding an NYC community that wants her as a neighbor.
