Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers wants Joe Burrow to stay healthy.
During a recent appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show,” Rodgers shared that he’s a fan of Burrow and offered the Cincinnati QB some advice.
“I’m a Joe Burrow fan,” Rodgers said on the show. “I enjoy the way he goes about his business, I enjoy the way he plays with confidence.
“I will tell you the thing that I told him, which I’ve told other quarterbacks from time to time: Slide. Slide. “I said, ‘You’re too damn talented, you got so much in front of you to accomplish in this league, just sometimes you gotta slide.’ I would’ve told the same thing to Andrew (Luck).”
Burrow made many highlight plays with his legs at LSU and rushed 37 times in his 10-game rookie season with the Bengals. This season, Burrow has rushed 3 times or fewer in 4-of-5 games.
