My picks for Thursday Night Football
Justin Jefferson higher than 81.5 yards. As mentioned earlier, this is a discounted line you’ll want to take advantage of. Jefferson is an elite receiver, so even against a tough Eagles defense, he should get plenty of targets and catches. A second-straight 100-yard performance isn’t out of the question for Jefferson.
Kirk Cousins higher than 24.5 completions. The Eagles are an elite team. To keep pace with the Philly offense, Minnesota will have to throw early and often. Look for Cousins to have at least 40 passing attempts and complete at least 25 of those throws, several of which should land in Jefferson’s hands.
Jalen Hurts lower than 9.5 rushing attempts. Hurts only ran 9 times for 37 yards in a tight Week 1 matchup at New England. If he only ran 9 times in that game, he should run far less against a team with a weaker defense like the Vikings. I expect the Eagles to take a mutli-score lead early and hold on, keeping their star quarterback out of harm’s way as much as possible.
