It’s “My Cause, My Cleats” week in the NFL, where players bring awareness to organizations, causes and nonprofits with some stylish footwear.

For Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson this week has a special meaning. Months after he was the victim of an armed robbery, Robinson will be wearing cleats in support of ending gun violence.

According to the TMZ Sports story, artist Joe Castro did the artwork on Robinson’s cleats — which vividly spell out “End Gun Violence”.

After the incident, Robinson was quick to rehab and train in hopes of making his NFL debut this season in Week 5 against the Tennessee Titans.

Robinson was a third-round pick (98th overall) in the 2022 NFL Draft. He rushed for 1,343 yards and 14 touchdowns as a senior for the Alabama Crimson Tide. Robinson won two CFP championships at Alabama and was a first-team All-SEC performer in 2021.
