The Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals watched in horror on Monday night as Bills safety Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field and needed CPR to save his life.
Fortunately, since that horrible moment, Hamlin has been on the path to recovery. In fact, he’s watching Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots from his hospital room in Cincinnati, according to the CBS broadcast crew.
Well, we can imagine how excited he must have been watching the first play of the game, as the Bills returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown. Watch as Nyheim Hines sends the crowd into an emotional frenzy with this incredible play:

This is an important game for the Bills, as they lock up the No. 2 seed in the AFC playoffs with a victory. Based on the emotion they’re playing with in the first quarter, the Patriots may not have a chance.
Damar Hamlin is clearly on the minds of his teammates during this final week of the regular season.
