Drew Brees may not be leaving NBC Sports after all.

The former New Orleans Saints quarterback, who joined NBC Sports last season as an NFL analyst, clarified his plans after a report from Andrew Marchand of the New York Post suggested Brees is not returning to NBC.

It appears Brees has several options, and he laid out a list of scenarios, both personally and professionally, with a tweet on Sunday evening.

“Despite speculation from media about my future this fall, I’m currently undecided. I may work for NBC, I may play football again, I may focus on business and philanthropy, I may train for the pickleball tour, senior golf tour, coach my kids or all of the above. I’ll let you know.”

If Brees, in fact, steps down, some of the reasons may point to his up and down rookie season that was highlighted by a poor performance in his biggest broadcast of the year, the Bengals-Raiders playoff game.
