If the Los Angles Chargers front office is weighing a coaching change, one of the final plays in Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills might be the deciding moment in pulling the plug.

Nearing the end of the fourth quarter, the Chargers were down by 10 points to the Bills. Thanks to a fourth-down heave by rookie Justin Herbert, the team had a chance for one more late score (though not conceivably enough time to get all 10 points). Despite the time limitations, the Chargers still tried to get a touchdown with just seconds left on the clock. There appears to have been a miscommunication as Herbert looked to try a sneak but his offensive line backed up into pass protection instead of pushing forward.

It resulted in an absolute mess of a failed play.
