Former Auburn running back Kerryon Johnson has rejoined the Philadelphia Eagles. The running back was with the Eagles earlier this year during training camp before he was cut by the team due to injuries.

After that, he became a member of the San Francisco 49ers in September before he was released again in early October of this year.

Now, he is back with the Eagles on their practice squad, the team announced. As some may recall, Johnson was the SEC Offensive Player of the Year in 2017 and lead the SEC in rushing that season.

Johnson was the second-round draft choice of the Detroit Lions in 2018 and lead the team in rushing in his first 2 seasons, but injuries have plagued the former SEC star in recent years.
