JJ Watt has stated that he will play football on Sunday despite having had his heart shocked back into rhythm this week. There wasn’t any previous news of the issue, as Watt said on Twitter that he was made aware that someone had leaked personal information about him.

“I was just told somebody leaked some personal information about me and it’s going to be reported on today,” Watt tweeted. “I went into A-Fib on Wednesday, had my heart shocked back into rhythm on Thursday and I’m playing today. That’s it.”

Watt hasn’t had injury issues this season outside of the calf issue that caused him to miss the season opener, but he’s played in the least two games and is responsible for the only two sacks the Cardinals have this season.

The Cardinals are set to play the Carolina Panthers up next at 3:05 p.m. CT.
