Kansas City Chiefs bizarre carousel trick play leads to would-be touchdown

The Kansas City Chiefs delivered one of the most bizarre trick plays most people have ever seen, and somehow, it ended with a touchdown — before a penalty brought it back.
With a huddle that turned into a spinning carousel, the Chiefs whirled into formation from just inside the 10-yard line, as Patrick Mahomes eventually completed a pass to Kadarius Toney. He then fought off a tackler, and scored. However, the play was called back by a penalty.
“I’ve never seen that before in my life,” ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky said on the broadcast, perhaps speaking for America.
Regardless, the Chiefs had a commanding lead at halftime, 24-3, over the Las Vegas Raiders.
Toney contributed 3 carries for 26 yards and a touchdown, and 2 catches for 18 yards. Mahomes had another strong outing in the first half, and was 14-for-17 passing for 175 yards and a touchdown.
