NFL fans call out refs over ejection for player who made contact with official
An NFL veteran was reminded Sunday that you need to be extra careful when you’re around the guys in stripes.
Will Hernandez, a veteran guard for the Arizona Cardinals, was ejected from Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers for making contact with an official. On social media, Hernandez’s contact is mostly being described as a push or a shove (Red Zone Channel’s Andrew Siciliano called it a hit), with many fans questioning if it warranted an ejection.
Cardinals OL Will Hernandez got ejected for contacting an official (Referee John Hussey himself) in the 4th quarter of Cardinals at Panthers.
