Stephen Ross and the Miami Dolphins were hit hard by NFL penalties on Tuesday. The penalties stem from tampering charges involving Tom Brady and Sean Payton.
The Dolphins are losing a first-round pick in 2023 and a fourth-round pick in 2024. Additionally, the owner, Ross, is being fined $1.5 million and is suspended until Oct. 17, 2022.
After the findings were revealed and punishments handed out, Ross issued a strong statement calling out the league. He also brought up the Brian Flores allegations that the team intentionally tried to lose games:

We’ll see if the Dolphins plan to appeal any of these punishments. Ross’s statement is a strong one, so we’ll also see if there’s any fallout from that.
For now, though, Ross and his team are focusing on the upcoming 2022 season.
