Tom Brady is one of the greatest NFL players of all time, having won 7 Super Bowls — 6 with the New England Patriots and 1 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Now, the GOAT is hanging up his cleats. After rumors (and a premature announcement on Twitter), Brady made it official on Tuesday morning — he’s retiring after 22 years in the league.
As you can see below, Brady announced the news on Twitter with a lengthy thread thanking many in the Bucs’ organization and those who have supported him throughout his career:

Interestingly, no mention was made of the New England Patriots or longtime coach Bill Belichick.
What’s next for Brady? He could potentially land a media gig, coach, become a businessman or do anything else he sets his mind to. One thing is for sure, though — in a few short years, he’ll have a bust in Canton.
