NC State picked up a big win on Saturday, as the Wolfpack picked up a 35-30 come-from-behind victory against in-state rival North Carolina to become bowl-eligible. The team scored with 25 seconds remaining as Hollywood Smothers scored on a 2-yard run to help the team get the win.

Wide receiver Kevin Concepcion had 3 catches for 44 yards and 1 touchdown in the game. He was 1st on the team with 53 catches and 6 touchdowns this season and was 2nd on the team with 460 yards. Those were good numbers, but they didn’t compare to his stellar freshman year when he had 71 catches, 539 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Not only was he big as a receiver, but Concepcion also rushed for 320 yards as a freshman while rushing for only 36 yards this season. He was also named 2023 ACC Rookie of the Year and a Freshman All-American.

On Sunday, he announced that he would be entering the transfer portal, and will instantly become one of the most sought out players this off-season.

His younger brother, Arrion, was committed to NC State, but he recently changed his mind and announced that he was committing to Kansas State last week.

We are getting to the point where players are likely to reveal their future plans with the transfer portal set to open up right around the corner.
