At halftime of the Fiesta Bowl, Notre Dame holds a 28-14 lead over Oklahoma State in the first game of the Marcus Freeman era.

The Irish’s offense under OC Tommy Rees has been particularly impressive, scoring almost at will against the Cowboys’ defense.

Let’s just say former Notre Dame and Florida QB Malik Zaire noticed how fun the Irish look on Saturday. He took to Twitter to call out former Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly, who left this offseason for LSU:

The Irish do seem to be playing loose and having fun against the Cowboys. How much of that is due to the energy Freeman has injected into the program as head coach? That remains to be seen.

But, clearly, Zaire likes these new-look Irish.
