Notre Dame has landed a commitment from a talented 4-star QB in the 2025 class.
Blake Hebert, who currently stars for the Brunswick School in Connecticut, had been committed to Clemson since June 2023. Now, the QB has flipped his commitment to Notre Dame and represents a big get for the Irish. The QB took to social media to announce his decision.
“HERE COME THE IRISH!” said the QB.

Hebert is listed as a 4-star prospect according to the 247Sports Composite ranking. The QB is listed as the No. 29 QB in the class and the No. 3 prospect out of Connecticut.
In 2023, Hebert suffered a season-ending injury in his team’s first game. In 2022, however, the QB started catching the attention of college programs after throwing for 1,748 yards with 24 TDs and just 1 INT. The QB also showed his dual-threat ability, running for 297 yards and 4 TDs.
As mentioned above, Hebert committed to Clemson in the Summer of 2023 after also visiting Penn State. The prospect also received offers from UConn, Boston College, and Auburn among others. Now, the QB will head to South Bend in 2025 and join a class that is currently ranked 13th in the country. The Irish have 12 4-star prospects committed to the program already.
Hebert is the only QB currently committed to the Irish in the 2025 class, so this could end up being a crucial addition. The Irish did add 4-star CJ Carr in the 2024 class, so these young passers could end up battling it out for the starting spot.
