Austin Stogner is all about familiarity with his transfers. A year ago, Stogner left Oklahoma to reunite with former Sooners assistant Shane Beamer at South Carolina. After a year playing for Beamer’s Gamecocks, Stogner is headed back to Norman.

Thursday, Stogner announced his transfer back to Oklahoma.

Over the 2019-21 seasons, Stogner played in 34 games, starting 10 for the Sooners, recording 47 catches for 654 yards and 8 touchdowns. His most productive season came in 2020, when he had 26 catches for 422 yards and 3 TDs.

At South Carolina, Stogner played in all 12 regular-season games, making 10 starts. For the Gamecocks, he recorded 20 catches for 210 yards and a score. Stogner helped South Carolina to an 8-4 record, top-25 finish in the final College Football Playoff rankings and a trip to the Gator Bowl.
