Kansas State’s shocking upset win over Oklahoma ended with controversial onside kick

The Oklahoma Sooners went to Kansas State on Saturday as heavy favorites to win. Instead, they leave Manhattan with a 48-41 loss.
However, the Sooners were down by a lot more and at least made things interesting at the end. They even had a chance to tie the game.
As you can see below, it appeared that the Sooners recovered a late onside kick after narrowing the deficit to 48-41:

But, there was a review of the play to see whether the ball hit an Oklahoma player before the 10-yard barrier. A lengthy review followed, including this synchronized replay:

Ultimately, though, it was overturned and ruled that an Oklahoma player touched it too soon. Game over.
