Oklahoma lands commitment from 4-star WR out of Georgia

Oklahoma landed a major commitment in the class of 2024 on Tuesday afternoon.

Ragins committed to the Sooners over offers from programs such as Georgia and Florida State.

Ragins is a huge recruiting win for Oklahoma. He’s the No. 215 overall player and the No. 31 receiver in the country for the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 29 player from the state of Georgia.

He attends Jones County High School in Gray, Georgia. He’s listed at 5-foot-9, 150 pounds.

Ragins took his official visit to Oklahoma back in June. He also made trips to Georgia and Florida State prior to making this decision.

Oklahoma now has 14 commitments in the class of 2024, including 5 from wide receivers. Ragins is the second highest-ranked WR to join OU’s class so far. Overall, Oklahoma’s class is No. 22 in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
