Oklahoma ended the 2024 regular season at 6-6 after losing to LSU, 37-17, on Saturday. It was an up-and-down season for the Sooners, with the highlight of their season being the 24-3 upset victory against Alabama 2 weeks ago. When the regular season ends, teams are going to start finding out what their players are going to do next season.
On Sunday, the Sooners found out they could be losing wide receiver Jaquaize Pettaway, as it was reported that he is planning on entering the transfer portal.

Pettaway had only 5 catches for 87 yards this season, but he did have a game against Tennessee when he had 3 catches for 79 yards. During his 2 years in Norman, he produced 16 catches for 157 yards.
He entered Norman with big expectations, as Pettaway was a sought-out prospect in the 2023 recruiting class. According to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, he was a 4-star recruit and the No. 8 player from the state of Texas. Pettaway was also the No. 10 receiver in the class, and the No. 56 prospect overall.
While he is expected to enter the transfer portal, players aren’t able to officially enter the portal until Dec. 9. That is the day after the College Football Playoff bracket is decided, setting the scene for a very busy month of December.
