Oklahoma wide receiver Deion Burks is now listed as a game-time decision for Oklahoma’s Week 8 matchup against South Carolina, an upgrade from his “questionable” status this week.
Burks playing would be excellent news for the Sooners, who are going to be missing at least 4 receivers on Saturday. Andrel Anthony, Nic Anderson, Jalil Farooq and Jayden Gibson are all listed as out for Saturday’s game.

Here’s a look at Burks pre-game:
Deion Burks is out early catching some deep balls from Jackson Arnold
Burks was listed as questionable last night, would obviously be massive if he could go for Oklahoma

Burks is the only Oklahoma receiver to have eclipsed 200 yards receiving so far this season, a truly depressing statistic for what has been one of the worst passing attacks in the nation this season. Of course, that makes sense when 5 receivers have missed the past few games.
The Sooners are in for a tough one today. South Carolina’s best is dangerous if they show up. The Gamecocks have been very hot and cold this season, but very nearly knocked off Alabama last week and almost downed LSU earlier in the season.
The Sooners and Gamecocks are set to face off at 12:45 p.m. on SEC Network.
