Dead longhorn cow found at Oklahoma State fraternity house Friday before Texas game
The Oklahoma State Cowboys and Texas Longhorns are set to battle for the Big 12 Championship on Saturday. Unfortunately, a feud between fraternities on Oklahoma State’s campus has taken attention away from the big game.
On Friday, a dead longhorn cow was discovered on the lawn of an Oklahoma State fraternity. The carcass had an expletive carved into it and the stomach was cut out of the animal.
The Oklahoma State University chapter of FarmHouse Fraternity also issued a statement, saying its members were “just as sickened and surprised by this incident as our peers on campus… To our knowledge, no FarmHouse member was involved in this incident, and we do not condone cruelty or defacing of livestock in any manner.”
As far as we know, it’s a coincidence that the Cowboys are playing the Longhorns. This incident seems to be between rival OSU fraternities and not football-related.
?UPDATE?
I’ve had Farmhouse and AGR guys DM me, as well as other numerous sources.
Essentially, there has been a rivalry between AGR and FH for a LONG time, and there have always been harmless pranks.
In the last couple months, both frats began throwing dead animals… https://t.co/0ugoK0wqKO
