One of the biggest surprises of the past couple of weeks was former Florida QB commit Matt Corral flipping to Ole Miss.

The 4-star 2018 quarterback was a big loss for Florida’s 2018 recruiting class and a big win for Matt Luke and the Rebels.

On Wednesday, the California native made things official, signing his letter of intent with the Rebels to kick off the early signing period:

According to the 247Sports composite, Corral is the No. 3 pro-style quarterback in the class of 2018 and the No. 8 overall recruit from the state of California.

Corral is now set up to be the Rebels’ quarterback of the future, though he’ll likely redshirt in 2018 behind starter Jordan Ta’amu.
