AJ Brown shares hilariously creative reason for deleting social media from his phone
AJ Brown is a typical modern athlete in that he deleted social media from his phone, but the reason he shared with reporters is one of the more unique in sports.
The former Ole Miss star, and Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver, dominated in his first half of a game as a member of the Eagles, as he made 6 catches for 128 yards against the Detroit Lions. He finished with 10 catches for 155 yards, including a 54-yard catch, on 13 targets.
Brown shared with reporters that he deleted social media from he phone because he didn’t want to hear people telling him how good he played.
Normally, college and pro athletes delete social media because of ongoing criticism.

Regardless of social media the Eagles expect defenses to shift to compensate for Brown’s involvement in the offense.
“I think anytime a guy like A.J., he has 10 catches for 155 (yards), teams have to be aware of that,” offensive coordinator Shane Steichen said, per NBC Sports Philadelphia. “We have to be ready to adjust.
“That’s the beauty of having 3 studs (Brown, DeVonta Smith, Dallas Goedert), along with Quez (Watkins) is a stud, that if they start rolling to certain guys or whoever it is and how they start to play guys, we have to go through our reads and go from there.”
