There’s been an unprecedented amount of hype surrounding the recruitment of Arch Manning over the last year — and that’s only going to continue as the Louisiana native still has two seasons of high school football remaining at Isidore Newman before he makes his way to college.

So what is all the hype about?

The way his uncle tells it, Arch possesses talent he and his brother Peyton didn’t have.

“He throws it well and he is able to run around. I guess, Peyton and I got my mom’s speed, so it skips a generation, I don’t know what happened there,” Eli Manning says in the clip below. “But he does run better than then Peyton and I, that’s for sure. So it’s fun to watch him in games be able to bust out a run and get down the field and make some plays.”

Despite all the hype, the nation’s No. 1 quarterback prospect in the 2023 recruiting cycle has kept a level head according to Eli.

“Just proud of him and how he’s handled everything and a lot has been thrown on his shoulders but he’s kept a level head and just going about his business and stayed pretty humbled through it all,” Eli Manning added.
