On Saturday, ahead of a game with Georgia, several Ole Miss players were spotted kneeling during the national anthem.

The protest was in connection with a hate group coming to the university to protest Ole Miss distancing itself from its Confederate past.

After the game, naturally, coach Kermit Davis, AD Ross Bjork and star point guard Breein Tyree were asked about the protest. Here’s what they all had to say:

Obviously, this is a situation that will continue to get a lot of attention, so we’ll monitor the story as it progresses.

For now, though, it seems the players have the support of their school in regards to Saturday’s protest.
