The Buffalo Bills are mourning the Knox family’s tragic loss. The Bills held a moment of silence for the late Luke Knox, who passed Thursday. He was the younger brother of Buffalo TE Dawson Knox. Both Knox brothers played at Ole Miss.

Dawson Knox is understandably away from the team for the celebration of life and church service. He posted a note on Twitter Friday evening thanking everyone for their love and support in the difficult time.

Luke Knox spent 4 seasons at Ole Miss (2018-21) before transferring to FIU ahead of the 2022 season. Knox started his Ole Miss career at linebacker. He switched to tight end ahead of the 2021 season. At FIU, he reunited with Mike MacIntyre, who was Ole Miss’ defensive coordinator for the start of Knox’s career.

Luke Knox was 22.
