Caden Prieskorn delivers wild TD grab in clutch Egg Bowl moment for Ole Miss

Caden Prieskorn and Ole Miss are trying to put away Mississippi State for another win in the Egg Bowl. The Rebels are not quite out of the woods yet, but Prieskorn stepped up with a massive play late in the game.

Facing a 3rd-and-5 in the red zone, Prieskorn lined up in the slot and found man-to-man coverage from the Mississippi State secondary. It was a great advantage for the tight end with Jaxson Dart looking toward his guy down the seam.

Dart’s pass was pinpoint with the quarterback dropping it over the top of the defender, but the catch was next level. Prieskorn could only get his left hand on the ball initially, batting the ball in the air slightly as he sustained contact from the defensive back.

Fortunately, he was able to get both hands on the ball and secure the catch away from his body so that the defender could not get in and break up the play. Check it out:

That touchdown came in a clutch moment as it gave Ole Miss a 2-touchdown lead at 26-14 after a missed 2-point conversion attempt with just under 10 minutes remaining. The Rebels will try to hold onto that lead with Mississippi State still threatening down the stretch.
