Ole Miss catcher Hayden Dunhurst is known for having a great throwing arm, but after this weekend, he may be remembered for his foul ball athleticism.

Dunhurst made a spectacular play in the fourth inning against Arkansas in the SEC Tournament semifinal on Saturday in Hoover, Alabama, when he tumbled over the Arkansas dugout railing to make a catch. Dunhurst made the play on fellow catcher Casey Opitz, who himself responded with a caught stealing throw at third base in the bottom of the fourth.

During the between-innings interview on the SEC Network, Ole Miss coach Mike Bianco said the discussion in the dugout was that the play should be nominated as a top play on ESPN’s “SportsCenter.”

The play also gave Ole Miss some momentum after the Rebels fell behind early on a two-run home run by Arkansas. The Razorbacks held a 2-0 lead going to the fifth inning.

The winner marches on to face Tennessee on Sunday. The Vols earlier Saturday knocked off Florida in the first semifinal matchup. The championship game will be played at 3 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
