Lane Kiffin began his day at ESPN’s “College GameDay” on The Grove as the guest picker on the popular pregame show. He ended his night pounding his fist in celebration after Ole Miss beat Texas A&M 29-19.

Kiffin was especially excited to watch his defense finish off a stellar effort by rushing 3 defensive linemen, and sacking Zach Calzada to seal the win.

“Lane Kiffin, I haven’t seen him that fired up in a while,” ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit said on the broadcast. “He is very excited and he should be.”

Kiffin found himself the subject of several fan bases, from Ole Miss fans happy and appreciative, and Florida and LSU fans wanting their schools to hire him after another solid performance as Ole Miss improved to 8-2.
