Who could forget D.K. Metcalf’s heroics last season for the Seahawks when he chased down Arizona defender Budda Baker from behind to make a touchdown-saving tackle?

As a result of the play, Arizona got the ball inside Seattle’s 10-yard line but failed to get anything out of it as the Cardinals went for it on fourth down and did not convert.

Well, we just saw something similar from the high school ranks as USC commit Keyan Burnett refused to give up following a lost fumble by his Servite teammate and 6-foot-5, 215-pound receiver/tight end chased down the Damien defender to make a touchdown-saving tackle.

Just like in Metcalf’s play, Damien failed to score after Burnett‘s incredible play.

Burnett, rated as a four-star prospect and the No. 8 tight end in the country for the 2022 recruiting cycle by 247Sports Composite Rankings, will likely see his stock rise after college programs see his hustle and team-first mentality on the field.

If you are unaware, California did not have high school football this fall. Instead, the state moved the games to the spring, that’s why this play was recently made in case you were wondering.
