Dawson Knox has developed into a reliable target for Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills, and the former Ole Miss tight end got off to a fast start on Saturday night.

Knox caught touchdowns of 8 and 11 yards to give the Bills a 14-0 lead over the New England Patriots after the first quarter as he collected 3 catches for 43 yards, including a 24-yard catch on 3 targets.

The Bills are trying to avenge an earlier loss to the Patriots in Orchard Park, New York, even though they beat them in New England later in the regular season.

Knox has enjoyed a breakout season so far as he entered Saturday’s game with 49 catches for 587 yards and 9 touchdowns, nearly double his first two years’ totals in yards and touchdowns. The 6-foot-4, 254 pound Knox has proven to be a NFL Draft steal for the Bills, who drafted him in the third round, 96th overall, in the 2019 NFL Draft.

The story of the game, though, was the weather, as the press box announcement was 7 degrees, with a real feel of of minus-4 and winds of 5-10 miles per hour, according to Jay Skurski of The Buffalo News.
