New details have emerged on Tuesday after much confusion about whether or not one of the Nkemdiche brothers was hospitalized on Monday.

According to a report from the Jackson Clarion-Ledger, it is former Ole Miss LB Denzel Nkemdiche that was hospitalized at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

The report says that the Ridgeland Police Department issued a press release detailing officer’s response to a call about an “unresponsive male” on Monday morning.

The fire department was called to the scene to help, and the person believed to be Nkemdiche was eventually transported to the hospital for medical attention.

The Clarion-Ledger’s Sarah Fowler also reported these important details:

Tuesday morning, UMMC said there was no patient listed under Nkemdiche’s name.

Ridgeland Chief John Neal would only say, “No law enforcement action taken and there is no criminal investigation at this time.”

As you may remember, Nkemdiche missed the final two games of the regular season due to a hospitalization of which the details still aren’t exactly clear.

His brother, Robert, was hospitalized recently after jumping out of a hotel window in Buckhead, Ga.

Here’s to hoping that a full recovery is made and that the Nkemdiche brothers get their health situations straightened out.
