Ole Miss offensive lineman Christian Morris has reluctantly announced his career is over.
Morris tweeted the news on Saturday, shortly before the Rebels took the field for their game against Arkansas. The decision was clearly hard on him.

Morris collapsed while heading to the locker room at halftime of the Rebels’ 23-3 win over Texas A&M on Oct. 24. He was rushed to the hospital, and was diagnosed with a spinal cord contusion. He has not played since then.
Morris is a 6-foot-6, 313-pound junior from Memphis, Tenn. He primarily played on special teams for the Rebels.
Several Ole Miss fans tweeted messages of support to Morris.
