DK Metcalf makes sizable donation to help COVID-19 relief efforts in Seattle, Oxford
Hospitals and food banks are some of the places that are most impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak, as doctors and nurses struggle to care for the sick and food banks struggle to keep everyone in their communities fed.
On Wednesday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that former Ole Miss WR DK Metcalf is stepping up to help those organizations in Oxford and in his new hometown of Seattle, where he plays for the Seahawks.
Per Schefter, Metcalf is donating $25K to a hospital in Seattle and $25K to help feed people in need in Oxford:

Though Metcalf has left Ole Miss, it’s clear the community made an impact on him during his time with the Rebels.
It’s great to see stories of athletes and coaches coming together to help the COVID-19 relief efforts and giving their hard-earned money to support hospitals and food banks. Kudos to Metcalf.
