Dylan DeLucia and the Ole Miss Rebels celebrated the College World Series title on Sunday, and they were well-represented on the All-Tournament Team.

DeLucia named Most Outstanding Player after he made 4 starts, DeLucia went 3-0 with a 1.59 ERA, including a clutch complete game shutout performance to lead Ole Miss into the title series. DeLucia allowed one earned run, and struck out 17 without a walk in 16 2/3 innings.

Other Ole Miss players included Tim Elko, Justin Bench, Calvin Harris, Kevin Graham, and Kemp Alderman. Arkansas catcher Michael Turner also made the team.

The Rebels had a special season, and not the least of which because it was an improbable journey for the Rebels coach Mike Bianco, who finished his 22nd season, but came under criticism. Bianco and the Rebels were at one time ranked No. 1 in the country, but stumbled later in the season to a 22-17 overall record, including 7-14 in SEC play on May 1.

Fittingly to show the SEC’s strength, the Rebels’ only loss in Omaha was 3-2 to Arkansas on Wednesday. But then the next day, DeLucia pitched a four-hit shutout to beat the Razorbacks and send the Rebels to the finals.
