Former Ole Miss RB Enrique Davis is reportedly returning to his alma mater in a coaching role. Davis will be an analyst for the Rebels, according to Matt Zenitz of On3.

Davis joins Lane Kiffin’s staff in an off-field role after previously coaching running backs at Western Kentucky.

Davis was a member of the Rebels from 2008-to-2011, playing for Houston Nutt. He earned 2008 SEC Newcomer of the Year and helped Ole Miss win 2 Cotton Bowl games.

Davis got his coaching start at the prep level. He spent 4 years as the athletic director and head football coach at Renaissance Christian Academy in Georgia (2013-16) followed by a season as the co-offensive coordinator at Westlake High School in Atlanta.

After coaching high school, Davis got into college coaching at Morehouse College (2017-18). Positions at the University of West Georgia (2018-20), McMurry University (2021) and Western Kentucky (2022) followed. He also spent time with the New York Jets in the summer of 2021 in a quality control role during training camp.
