After a disappointing 2019 season and months in free agency, Donte Moncrief is getting another NFL opportunity. The New York Jets are reportedly signing the former Ole Miss wide receiver.

Moncrief entered the NFL in 2014 as a third-round pick by the Indianapolis Colts. After four seasons with the Colts, he signed a one-year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2018. After his stop in Jacksonville joined the Pittsburgh Steelers in March of 2019. The Steelers released Moncrief during the 2019 season after recording 4 catches for 18 yards through five games. Moncrief was with the Carolina Panthers for 3 games before his Dec. 6 release.

In his NFL career, Moncrief has played in 77 games, logging 204 catches for 2,561 yards (career-long of 80 yards) and 21 touchdowns. His best season came in 2015, when he caught 64 passes for 733 yards and 6 touchdowns.

Moncrief will join the Jets once he passes COVID-19 protocols.
