Jordan Ta’amu played for the St. Louis BattleHawks in the first season of the XFL, leading the team to a 3-2 record before the league shut down for the year amid the COVID-19 outbreak.

Now, he’s reportedly heading to the other side of the state and joining the NFL.

Per agent Kenny Zuckerman on Twitter, Ta’amu has agreed to a contract with the Super Bowl-champion Kansas City Chiefs:

Ta’amu figures to serve as Patrick Mahomes’ backup with the Chiefs in 2020. The Chiefs should once again be Super Bowl contenders in 2020.

How will Ta’amu fare moving forward? We’ll find out starting this fall!
