Georgia transfer DB Otis Reese announces commitment to Ole Miss
After entering his name into the NCAA transfer portal earlier this month, departing Georgia safety Otis Reese has found his new home.
Reese will be staying in the SEC as he announced his commitment to Ole Miss on Saturday, via his Twitter account.
“Even in my darkest times, I have always believed, the light would shine & it’s TIME!!!” Reese wrote, tagging Ole Miss, coach Lane Kiffin and new Rebels assistant Chris Partridge.
Reese appeared in 25 games during two seasons at UGA, including all 14 games of the 2019 season. This year, he recorded three total tackles, with two coming in the Arkansas State game.
Coming out of Lee County High School, the Leesburg, Georgia native was rated 4-stars, the No. 5 outside linebacker, No. 12 Peach State product and No. 87 prospect overall nationally in the 2018 class on the 247Sports Composite. Reese had 15 scholarship offers including Michigan, where Partridge was his primary recruiter.

Good luck Otis! Hope it works out for you at Ole Miss.
Congrats Otis and absolutely best wishes for a successful future. Thanks for being a DGD. Can’t argue with your decision, wish you well at DirtFishU…
I wish the best of luck to Otis and hope he has success in Kiffin’s program
Best of luck, young man! At least you didn’t leave like a little b–ch like Cade Mays and his 9.5-fingered Daddy and his mom suing for loss of consortium missing the shocker.
Hope the fit at Ole Miss is better for you!
Nice!! Way to trash a 20 year old kid. I’m sure that makes you feel like a man. Of course you sound like a 12 year old girl.
He called him a b—-. He didn’t openly wish for his ACL to be torn like a multitude of UT fans when Mays signed with UGA.
There was a disgusting amount of Tennessee fans openly wishing Mays would tear an ACL
I wish he would have stayed with the Dawgs, but I understand wanting more playing time. I wish him the best of luck.
Best of luck Otis! Lane got a man who can lay down the boom.
Wishing you great success Otis!! You’ll always be a DGD!!
