Greg McElroy still has some doubts about the 8-1 Ole Miss Rebels in the game against Alabama this weekend.

“I’m not 100% sold on Ole Miss. I think they’re a little one dimensional,” McElroy said while expressing his concerns about Lane Kiffin’s squad. “I think they’re a great run team and they have excellent players, excellent coaches and an excellent scheme.”

Ole Miss is the third-best rushing offense in the nation and has players like freshman running back Quinshon Judkins who has more than 1,000 yards on the season. The passing offense on the other hand is only ranked 78th nationally and starting quarterback Jaxson Dart has had mixed results so far.

“If Ole Miss wants to pull the upset,” McElroy said while explaining the best path for Kiffin to win, “teams that have at least scored 30 on Alabama are 7-6.”

“The teams that have not scored 30 are 0-52,” McElroy explained.

McElroy continued walking through Ole Miss’ offense and its incredible pace of play. Ole Miss is second in the FBS for total plays ran which is almost a snap every 20 seconds.

McElroy also discussed how Kiffin will have to use some new concepts on top of his strong run game to put Alabama’s defense in conflict if the Rebels hope to win on Saturday.
