Ole Miss 2019 recruiting class dropped to 24 players Tuesday morning when Jerrion Ealy announced he would de-commit from the Rebels, but still sign on Feb 6.

Ealy is a 4-star running back from Flowood, Missisippi and the No. 4-ranked running back in this class, according to the 247Sports Composite. He committed to Matt Luke’s program on Dec. 15, 2017. Ealy has 14 offers, including from Clemson, Mississippi State and Alabama.

Ealy thanked Luke when he announced his de-commitment from the Rebels.

Ealy could also be considering a future in baseball, as Perfect Game has listed Ealy as the nation’s No. 4 baseball prospect.

This will no doubt drop Ole Miss’ class from being ranked No. 10 in the SEC and No. 22 in the country, as Ealy was the only top 50 recruit in this class coming out of high school.
