Jason Jackson, a Class of 2023 shooting guard out of Sarasota, Florida, announced Tuesday through his “NIL advisor” that he will reclassify to the Class of 2024 and commit to Ole Miss. For the 2023 season, Jackson will join Overtime Elite, a professional basketball league for prep players.
Tuesday, May 30 has proven to be a busy day for the Rebels’ basketball program. Just prior to Jackson’s announcement, Auburn transfer Allen Flanigan announced that he would be joining his father, newly hired assistant Wes Flanigan, in Oxford under Chris Beard.
Jackson was committed to Texas Tech until last week. He de-committed on May 22.
