Jaxson Dart and Ole Miss had 1 of the most dominating performances of the weekend, as the Rebels once again looked like a team that could play in the College Football Playoff.

The Rebels went to Fayetteville and defeated Arkansas by a score of 63-31. This was the same Arkansas team that knocked off Tennessee at home. One of the biggest reasons for the win was the incredible game by Dart.

The senior quarterback went 25-of-31 for 515 yards and 6 touchdowns, both of which are a new school record at Ole Miss. With a performance like that, there is going to be a lot of recognition, and that is the case for Dart as he was named the AP Offensive Player of the Week.

Up next is a home game against Georgia in a game that Lane Kiffin and the Rebels desperately need.  The Rebels slipped up a couple of times early, but Dart and the team have a golden opportunity this weekend to show it belongs in the CFP.

Last season, the Rebels lost this matchup by a score of 52-17, and Dart really struggled in that game. He finished with only 112 passing yards,  and Georgia pulled away from an early 14-14 tie to win in blowout fashion.

If Dart can have similar success next Saturday, then the Rebels could finally get that huge win that sets them up for a postseason run.
