Ole Miss gets creative to find added running back depth for recent practice

Ole Miss may not have really needed help at the running back position with the likes of Jerrion Ealy and Snoop Conner in the backfield this season but that didn’t stop the Rebel coaching staff from getting creative when it came to adding a new player to the practice field this week.

How many coaches in college football could drop their whistle for a helmet and shoulder pads and partake in some reps on the field? Not many but Kevin Smith is among those that can.

The former All-American UCF running back had a little fun this week in Oxford and actually participated in some drill week against some of the Rebel players.
